Team NewsHere at the Berry we have a number of teams who play weekly. Darts It's a real shame our men's team couldn't put a run like this together at the begining of the season. A fifth straight win, this time beating the Eagle 5-2. Like I said last week let's hope this sequence of good results carries on in to next season. The Ladies A team are currently in division 2, and are having a cracking season sitting pretty at the top of the table. In their most recent game they came back from 1-2 down to win 5-2 against The Rising Sun. The Ladies B team are currently in division 3, and on wednesday they beat the 5 Bells from Ringwould 4-3. Next Game: Home Re-arranged fixture Quiz We have two quiz teams playing this year in the Tuesday night quiz league. Both our teams beat opposition from The Five Bells Eastry. Our 'A' team go into a playoff for 5th place while our 'B' team have a shot at the championship. Pool Welcome to both our new pool teams and good luck this season. Our Ladies team narrowly lost thier first game 4-3 against a very good Landmark team. Our mens team did slightly better starting thier season with a comfortable 7-2 victory over the Deal and Bettes Lions 'B'. They followed this up with another 7-2 win. This time over The Leather Bottle 'B'. A first away game and a first away win for our mens team, beating the Five Bells 5-4. |
